Very crowded and not so clean beach. It has many small stores and restaurants but expensive for what it offers.

Very good beach for long walks, clean sea water, and good restaurants. No need to drive to
any other beach. Beautiful sunset and the view of a charming island that looks like a vulcano with a puffy white cloud above it

I spent a few days at this beach and was just taken away by the friendliness of the people there, the beauty of the place and the quaint town. It reminded me of small surfer towns on the coast in New Jersey, with summer homes a few blocks deep, neat shops and restaurants. The beach itself sported many surfers and boogie boarding was incredible. Catching a wave send you at least 50 feet in from where you started and at a good clip too. The kids loved it, so did I! There's also a banana boat that's not too expensive that takes you out to a deserted island off the coast, where you can walk around for a bit. There were quite a few people out there just hanging out. Also, when you walk to the end of the beach where the river runs into the ocean, there is a nice bridge to walk on, and in this inlet I saw several flying fish leaping out of the water in schools...it was incredible. Anyway, a great place to explore, relax and surf.

Went to take time off to unwind and reminisce about the land where I was born.

The healing sights and sounds of the ocean, the clean sands transcend, absorb and inspire.

Even though I got some rain, I am still mesmerized.

Juquehy is a part of my life since I was a baby.
It gets a bit crowded only in Brazilian's high season, but it is still a wonderful place to go.

The sea has some waves, but it is mostly callm and it goes deeper the more you get away from the shore, so it is, at the same time, swim and surf appropriate. It also tends to be calmer the further you go in, and it only gets agitated when it rains on the beach or on the islands surrounding it.

The sand is white, soft and thin. As a curiosity, Juquehy means "singing sands" in one of our indigenous languages, due to the sound it makes when you walk on it.

The city has a good nightlife scenario on typical Brazilian bars and around nightclubs, but it tends to be a calm city overall. Perfect for travelling in family or with friends. The streets are not well mantained but, honestly, I recommend you to do everything you can by foot.

Yeah I am super biased.

This was a really nice beach north of São Paulo and roughly 3-4 hours away from the city depending on traffic. We left before New Years and the stream of traffic coming to the beach looked more like 4-6 hours from the backlog of traffic.

The sand was perfect, and the length of the beach was approximately 6km (~3 miles) making it perfect for running or walking the beach. The views from the beach were really nice and it was a clean beach.

The vendors were mostly good but some still trie to rip us off. So bring exact change for the vendors on the beach since they were not always honest with you.

There were the usual services on the beach with umbrellas and chairs if you wanted. We had our own chair from the AirBnb we were in. Some places were more expensive than others, but one place had umbrellas for 10 BRL a day I think it was. Nothing crazy.

I would recommend this beach and it definitely was popular amongst local and some foreigners. Christmas day it was packed which was nice to see. Highly recommend it.

Wonderful beach to go with family. Soft and large sand, nice waves. Lots of kids, babies and toddlers. Nice people and great restaurants. Nice weather during winter. Beautiful water. Nothing to mention against it. We really enjoyed ourselves.
