It brings a view of Sète from the canals, quite pleasant if it weren’ t for the incessant babbling stupidities of a so called « guide » not really qualified for the job. Enjoyable if your french is poor, great for kids, as any boatride does.

We went on the canal trip today and very much enjoyed it. Our guide spoke French but was very attentive and made sure that we had an English printed trip for the trip. Although my French is still developing I understood quite a bit of...More

Good value for money. Interesting. No shade. Takes you out to sea to view oyster farms. The information is printed in English on a leaflet - commentary is in French. Be prepared to shrink down into your seat and bend down low when leaving Sete...More

We took the cruise to the mussel / ouster beds in the Etang de Thau which was pretty good. The commentary was in French but we were given an English translation sheet which covered it all. Not bad way to spend a couple of hours.

Short tour around the canals of sete for roughly an hour, in the heat of the afternoon it was nice to have some cooler air on the water. The commentator guide on the tour spoke mainly in French and if we would improve our French...More

We took the 45 minute canal boat. French only guide who spoke very fast and with a strong southern accent so not easy to follow. The route was pretty dull - how anyone has called the the Venice of the south I do not know!...More
