We visited Pondicherry a while ago and based on TripAdvisor's rating, we decided to give this heritage walk a go. Our guide was late. The walk lasted just over an hour or so and involved him talking about how great INTACH was and how useless...More

The gentleman who guided us through the French Town was so passionate about conservation: his sincerity to make Pondicherry into a cleaner and more beautiful town was quite touching, while his intelligence (6 languages he speaks!) gave more depth than a regular walking tour. Highly...More

Great displays in their renovated office building. Worth asking for walking tour even for a traveler who has been to Pondi before. Mine turned out to be a solo tour. Great guide and certainly worth the price.

I organised a Heritage walking tour though INTACH. It was fabulous and very informative. Ashok did our Tour and he was full of wonderful information about the buildings and how the city was trying to preserve them. Definitely worth doing while in Pondicherry

The walk is a very easy walk and probably last about 1 hr as the area covered is quite small. It is still very interesting and well worth taking.
