Feracare Wildlife Centre is a great place in Bela Bela as a stopover. The accomodations are clean and spacious. Have your breakfast while enjoying the beautiful scenery of this place.
Feracare is one of the leading wildlife centres with the expertise in rehabilitating cheetahs and other wildlife back into the wild.
During your stay you can experience several activities such as feeding cheetahs, cheetah run and do a wildlife tour in the reserve.
Every time is coming home far away from home.

Feracare is a center that is mainly for cheetahs but they have other animals to see as well. I volunteered here for three weeks and highly recommend visiting and volunteering. Kim, the owner, and her staff care so much for the animals and are very knowledgeable about each and everyone of them. When I was there I was able to see the cheetah run, have an interaction with their ambassador cheetah, and go on a tour. All of these activities were very well planned and informative. I can not recommend this enough!

I had a great time working as a volunteer in this cheetah centre : feeding and taking care of the cheetahs but also all of the others animals (caracals, wild dogs, wild cats, bat eared foxes etc...), seeing them running and evolving in their natural environment, and playing with them ! And most of all with a passionate and dedicated staff ! Definitely the best vacations ever !

My son, who is 9 and I visited Faracare in June 2018, we had an amazing time. We went on the feeding tour and watched the feeding of wild dogs, cheetahs, and numerous other animals. Our guide was knowledgeable and provided lots of great facts. To top it off we got to pet the cheetah. The whole experience was amazing,

The care and respect they have for the animals, and which they try impart to their guests, is truly a humbling experience. The amount of information they give is amazing, and you're left with a great compassion and understanding for the animals represented. Cannot express how wonderful the experience was - you simply MUST go.

We really had a wonderful experience. Our guide was really informative and she really made an effort of making our experience a lasting memory. Even with a fussy 2 year-old on the vehicle she managed to make our experience worth it.

Wonderful experience and the staff and volunteers there do such great work! Enjoyed driving through the cheetah and wild dog enclosures. Even the game vehicle breaking down didn't dampen the experience...it just added to the drama! Just ensure that you phone and book so that they know you are coming. Their front gate access control doesn't always work and you may just pitch up there and sit outside for ages wondering how you're going to get in (there is zero cell phone signal in the area).

We spent the afternoon at Feracare Wildlife Centre viewing the cheetahs. They also have a number of other smaller predators but seeing the Wild Dogs was the best.
They took us around in a game viewing vehicle you drive through one of the Cheetah and Wild Dog enclosure. we also got to meet Nova the male Cheetah who is their ambassador.
It's lovely to get so up close to these animals.

If you care for cheeta's and want to see them up close, this will make your day. You can also pet one (Nova)
They also have wild dogs and some other smaller animals. The guide will tell you everything you want to know and have great stories.
