Whether you agree with bull fighting or not this is a great place to explore. We went to the large open doors and was met by an old gentleman who just pointed in the direction of where he wanted you to go first. He had...More

We stopped there as not much more to see in Vera. The "museum" is smallish and only in spanish what is a pity. If you never seen a bull ring worth a visit, but does not compare to other rings like one in Ronda. We...More

Like it or not bullfighting was an intergalactic Part of Spanish history. We travelled by bus from Mojácar to Vera. The bullring is easy to spot and you get off the next stop. Two Spanish gentlemen appear to run the museum and when one saw...More

I struggled a little with this as I don’t agree with the violence attached. Obviously there was nothing going on as this is just a tour but the atmosphere is heavy knowing what does or has happened there! I hate the thought that bulls are...More

A walk round the bull ring, you can see where the bulls were kept, where they were cut up after being slaughtered. You can even walk into the ring itself. An interesting 20 mins. €5.00 can buy you a poster, key ring, fan or even...More

It was a experience. The act was a native Spaniard. (Obviously! We're in Spain for goodness sake!) So all the songs where played out in some type of play. We REALLY enjoyed it. It wasn't what we expected, but It was gòod. We all had...More

Free to enter and interesting to walk around inside. It's a beautiful building and you can feel its history, without needing to experience a bullfight!

We visited with our grandchildren n a party of 8. The custodian was very pleasant but Sid not speak much English. That did not matter as he interacted well with the children and the bullring itself was very interesting. There was no charge but we...More

What a great little find just on the outskirts of Vera town, part of the Spanish tradition this bullring is now used to hold concerts and events. A lovely Spanish gentleman gave us a tour around the museum and chapel. A free trip to view...More

Short trip up from where we stayed. Absolutely amazing old bull ring. Lovely Spanish man that showed us round a very interesting site. At the end which only took about 20 mins, he brought a fake bulls head out on wheels and gave you an...More

Just seen this message! My reply is as above. There may be a horse show or a bull fight but it will be widely advertised. Worth a visit even if there isn't an event during your stay. Have fun!
