We visited the Museum for the 4th time on 15 May 2015 to find the place even better than before. The staff are knowledgeable, and they won't bore you. There is so much to see and do, much of it interactive and 'live' Don't miss...More

Fact. It's the last remaining 'authentic' Victorian school experinece left in the UK. Fact. My daughter's have both yawned their way through more Brownie and school visits than they can bear. Strickly a one-off, been there - done that gig this.

A very interesting insight into schooling in Victorian times. Would thoroughly recommend it. Very close to the town centre as well.

The last remaining intact British School. Well laid out and restored with fascinating information. It makes you wonder about education today which is a far cry from this school, although, I think, the discipline here would be hard to swallow today, more’s the pity. Well...More
