If you are in the Perche region from the US or Canada, this is a good place to visit to get an overall view of this important 17th-century migration. But be prepared to read French as most of the exhibits are in that language only.

My wife and I went here, she enjoyed the Shopping Museum, it showed the history and evolution of the French shopping experience. It was very interesting looking at all the old artifacts. I enjoyed the French emigration to Canada museum. It was a good walk...More

Wonderful reactive museum for the story of French immigrants to Canada from the region of Perche. Ideal for children as there were plenty of interactive things with which to become involved. Minimal English (or any other language) so ideal for people of French Canadian extraction....More

Nicely done museum in a small country town. Probably only of interest to someone with Canadian roots and ancestors from the Perche region. The local church is also interesting with beautiful stained glass windows, one commemorates residents who left for Quebec in the 17th century....More
