The dry black sand beach is extremely hot especially in the summer. Stay on the white wooden paths. There are life guards in some areas of the beach but not in others. There are no sea shells at this beach but there are a varied...More

The black sand beach is spectacular and not to be missed. Be warned, the dry sand is extremely hot in the Summer and can severely burn the bottoms of your feet. Be especially careful with children. The beaches have white wooden walkways to get around...More

Very nice beach on the south side of Santorini. Many dining options that also have beach chairs and loungers. Nice Long Beach for walks and swimming on warm days.

Less crowded part of the beach with some good restaurants. About 30 minutes walk to the other part of Perissa beach.

I can imagine at peak season it must be REALLY busy. But it is a nice beach to cool off in the water, sun bathe in one of the beach chairs provided by the beach bars. I personally love having a chair and a waiter...More

The beach is stunning with clear blue sea with reaturants the whole way along with some offering free sunbeds and umbrellas. Excellent.

I don't really get the appeal of this beach. The sand is black and there's various washed up flotsam from the ocean. Maybe it's more appealing in summer, but in the off season it really wasn't anything particularly special.

Nice beach but very windy and huge waves in winter and most shops along the waterfront are closed. Definitely a summer destination.

This was a favorite of our whole trip. We took an ATV here twice for the day and parked it right outside of the "beach Bar' free chairs for patrons. We ate and drank and sunbathed. it was very chill and not touristy at all.

You can find something within 15 to 30 gbp. Don't get too big a car, get a small economy one: roads are small, you'll never be able to go more than 70 kph. Buses work well if you're on a budget, but you won't be able to get... More
