Corsica was wonderful, completely beyond expectations; a mountain raising out of the sea. Rent a car and don’t hurry, don’t try to do the whole island in once. But if you do the southern run as we did you must pass the Bavella ridge, it...More

Nice hike , very well marked. The views are breathtaking. The hike is not really super demanding, but if you are not fit, count enough time and carry enough water because there are no fonts on the way. Take good shoes!

Followed the scenic tour route from Porto veccio to Zonza and then onto Bavella and then down to the coast road. This route was very quiet mid week and vistas along the whole route got better and better. It felt like you could stop every...More

Wow, Corsica has so many beautiful nature! This island is blessed. Beautiful mountains like this Col de Bavella area and white sandy beaches in Porto Vecchio. When we drove up here, we used the road from Porto Vecchio via L'Ospedale. Out here in Col de...More

Breathtaking scenery. You have to drive here and the drive is beautiful but very demanding. Awesome nature and lots of bucking possibilities.

We made a detour and cam back from Zonga to see the Aiguilles and were lucky on a clear, sunny day. Impressive ! Be careful with the wind and lower temperatures.

Hiked the GR20 which included passing through the Aiguilles de Bavella on our 14th day. Outstandingly beautiful although Bavella does become full of tourists. We decided to stay in the nearby village of Zonza on our return, which was a great choice.
