Great trail! It fits everyone - You can just walk 30 minutes to the bridge and monument or go further. The view is breathtaking and the path isn't hard to walk at all. It's wide and paved not dangerous or crumbling unless you walk of...More

Stunning scenery and properly getting out into the wild. I drove down from Christchurch and the whole trip was just jaw dropping. Where's the 6 star option?

As we arrived here pretty late, we didn’t go to the end of the track. (We also didn’t want to do the whole 10km) Although we only went to the first bridge, the view was still beautiful. It can be very windy and cold near...More

This hike took us about 3 hours round trip. Mostly flat terrain, a few hills and stairs but nothing difficult. You will encounter 3 suspension bridges that go over little rivers of beautiful glacial blue water. You're surrounded by snowy capped mountains the entire way!...More

You can walk as far as you want and turn around. You have to go back the same way. It would be more enjoyable to go during the spring or fall season to avoid the large number of people on the trail. I walked the trail back... More
