An easy to moderate walkway (3hr return, 10km return via same track) offering spectacular views on the two glaciers and leading over three swingbridges. In my opinion you can skip the Kea Point Track, because on the Hooker Valley Track there are at least two...More

This is a must do walk, as there is beauty and surprise around every turn. Take your time. Allow 4 hours plus for the round trip to allow for taking in all the small things you see. Stop and look closely at the flowers, touch...More

I did this trek without proper trekking shoes and it was more than doable. You’ll see people of different ages and fitness levels doing the trek, and that tells you how manageable this trek is, although you should allow for more than 3 hours if...More

Must do walk in the mt. Cook national park. Easy walk on good track. Expect a lot of tourists, but very nice views.

If you consider effort-to-reward ratio, this might be the best track to walk in New Zealand. It is very easy, like walking in the park in your home town, but at the same time offers some of the most beautiful views in New Zealand. One...More

It's about a 3 hour return, and is worth it! The views are stunning the whole way, and the walk is very flat which is great for people like me who aren't fans of difficult hikes. My friends and I went on a VERY rainy...More

This track has always been a treat. Third time here and it’s still amazing. It’s an easy track for most people: well paved and you can take shelter behind big rocks along the way when the winds are high. However, not pram friendly if you...More

It started off a cold an miserable day, but 30mins into the 3 hour return walk the day was perfect. The track, the scenery, the swing bridges all made for a wonderful day. But the best of all was Mt Cook itself. A clear, sunny...More

You can walk as far as you want and turn around. You have to go back the same way. It would be more enjoyable to go during the spring or fall season to avoid the large number of people on the trail. I walked the trail back... More
