It was an excellent architectural complex, inside with mosaics and work were also amazing, the people there for praying and did not want to disturb anyone, was not as glorious as the Selimiye, but it was OK.

Architecture is quite something, so well worth a visit. Certainly one to add to the long list of places for Edirne.

Unlike most of Imperial Ottoman masjeeds which usually has one huge dome, this was built with 9 smaller ones. Eski Cami is the most unique compared to the other two masjeeds in the close vacinity, Selimye Cami and Üç Şerefeli Cami.

Eski Camii literally means the old mosque. Finished in the early 15th century, Eski Camii is open to visitors at all times of the day. If you want to take photos, it might be good idea to ask security for permission. They were very friendly....More

OK, the Selimiye is truly of a global 'champions league' level, but had that mosque not existed, people would talk about the beauty of the Eski Cami and the Uc Serefeli Camii. In the Eski Cami, I loved the peaceful atmosphere and the wonderful calligraphy....More

It does not differs from other mosques but the idea only that was built 600 years ago makes you feel awe. Nice history and easy to be visited as it is 1 minute walk from Selimiye mosque that you should absolutely visit
