I've only been in the spring and fall, but the dunes are beautiful any time of the year. Great place to go for a walk. Many birds, wild horses, and even some bunkers left over from WWll. Excellent bike trails to get to the dunes...More

We visited the Slufter Valley and really enjoyed the tremendous views and nice paths through this unique piece of Texel. If only we could visit this beautiful place more often. P.S. Wear waterproof shoes!

An amazing place to go for a stroll / walk and enjoy the colorful sights. In August the purple color of the flower fields is literally everywhere, making for a great scene. Recommend it when the weather is great!
