Went with family while on vacation. Get get there early or you will wind up way back from the water. Beaches can be crowded (we went during a heat wave). Lots of rock and alcoves to explore. Cafes are right there.

Beach is public so there are no fees. Just parking fees on the streets. We saw people hanging out till late into the night even till midnight. There are designated umbrella areas and paid umbrella areas. €10 per whole day... More
Beach is public so there are no fees. Just parking fees on the streets. We saw people hanging out till late into the night even till midnight. There are designated umbrella areas and paid umbrella areas. €10 per whole day for 2 chairs w unbrella.
Also locals starts to eat around 8-9pm so most restaurants all stayed open late by the beach.
