Spectacular cliffs
Nov 2020 • Solo
Beautiful beach surrounded by spectacular cliffs, it's a classic Algarve setting, quite stunning...big waves when I was there, be careful when you go swimming here (but the water is ice cold anyways!)

Lots of stairs.
Feb 2020 • Couples
You can see the beach from the chapel on the cliffs but if you want to go down about 50 meters west of the chapel are the 100 steep stairs down to the beach. A good size parking lot is just before the end of the road. A nice sandy beach but oh the climb!

Beautiful beach with secret pass through the cliff to get to the other beach, lovely place and you can find shells as big as your palm.

not too big not too crowded not commercial
Sep 2019
two sided beach - splitted by rocks - on one side there is a nice beach restaurant but smaller beach - the other side more calm and yearly the authorities make the beautiful sandy beach bigger
- one side can be reached by a iron staircase the other side by all means even by car (little parking space)

Beautiful spot near Pestana Viking Hotel and Lords Pub
May 2019
Great beach with access through peninsula to another more secluded spot. Nice restaurant there with anything from snacks to fine dining. Great selection of fresh fish. Awesome spot to just relax and enjoy the water and the sun. Also you can catch site seeing boat excursions to benagil and points beyond.

‘Traditional boat’ trip to see coastline and caves
Aug 2019 • Family
Superb boat trip to see caves and coastline to the west of this pretty beach. Recommend early boat (10am) as there will be more water traffic later in the day. We were impressed by the driving/steering of this local man. He took us right into the caves in his smaller boat, when the other larger boats could only view the caves from the outside. At €20 each, it was great value for money for 1 hour 15 mins of travelling along the beautiful coastline. Highly recommend!

Beach itself, small but lovely with restaurant and bar playing good music. A tunnel, cleverly bored through the headland, takes you to an adjacent much longer beach.

Beautiful beach and very clean water
Aug 2019 • Friends
We stayed for a week in an apartment in T2 near the Redonda Beach entrance. There are some nice bars and restaurants all within walking distance. It's very quiet even in peak season. You can get a road train in to Armacao de pera or a taxi to Albufeira. Taxi return to Albufeira is approx 50e.
Slide and Splash is worth a trip. Taxi from Senhora da Rocha is approx 40e return. Avoid booking the local transfer Diego. We booked him where we bought the tickets from the shop Martins. He wanted to charge is 45e and never bothered turning up. We ended up using the mytaxi app FreeNow and they were reliable and cheaper. Sent Diego a text to say we couldn't wait for him any longer and got a miserable 'sorry' hours later. Very unprofessional. Avoid at all costs.
The sea is amazing. Water can be cold when you first get in. Persevere and its worth it.
Great relaxing place to holiday

Cracking beach.
Jun 2019 • Family
Smallish stretch of sand but not over crowded. Accessible by road or by foot via steps. Lovely clean sand with pedalos etc to hire. Beach drops sharply so be careful with children. Nice beachfront restaurant / cafe. Take a trip through the tunnel to the beach next door but watch your head !

Pleasant place to visit
May 2019 • Couples
We have been here a few times and it is quite pleasant to visit and to sit around. The main feature is the church on the cliff but there are also a couple of good beaches. Some great views for photographers. Makes a change from Armacao De Pera which is about a half hour walk away or a 5 min drive or you can use the land train when it is running.
