Beautiful secluded Cove
Feb 2020
This is one of the larger beach coves in the area. Located at the top of the beach is the Vilarinho Restaurant.

Peaceful and Tranquil.

Praia Senhora da Rocha
Mar 2019 • Friends
I have never heard anyone use the translation of Senhora Da Rocha to name this beautiful beach with the chapel on the cliff. Look at Praia Senhora Da Rocha for better descriptions of this beach. A new parking lot has added lots of spaces but there are still 100 steps down to the beach.

calm and nice little beaches
Sep 2019
Nossa senhora da Rocha = The Chapel of the Lady of the Rock is a very lovely place in Porches. a breathtaking view from the chapel to the sea and to the two beaches. one with a beach restaurant the other one more calm and bigger - one can walk from one to the other through some kind of archway. still not overcrowded as not very well know (luckely). have a look at the madonna and the cannon stone floor - one beach can directly be reached by a staircase the other one even by car ... but why do the authorities allow all these car to be parked in that lovely calm area? for info the chappel area is ofter used for mariages

Nice spot
Aug 2019
This is a small church overlooking the sea with some lovely beaches and coves around it there is not a lot to see of the church but the views are excellent and the sea is quite cold if you want a dip.

Beautiful beach
Jul 2019 • Couples
The most beautiful beach where you get to lay on the sand and look out to a beautiful cove and blue sea. The Algarve at its best! A must to visit!

Perfect short break
May 2019 • Family
This is one of several small cove like beaches. Visiting it in early May meant that it was almost empty but August might see it packed. It is just a delightful place to sit and stare at the sea. The water is always cold and slightly rough but there are brave people swimming. Refreshments are available locally and it is a good place to take small children who enjoy digging in the sand.

very nice, uncrowded beach.
Jan 2019 • Couples
This is a very nice and uncrowded beach. You are protected by cliffs on each side so a great beach no matter what time of year. Cross under the outcropping that has the remains of the church and you will arrive on the other side and another beautiful beach. There is a snack hut on the 2nd beach. Above you are the ruins of the church and if you get hungry, Lord's Bar is a great place for a drink and a snack.
