Villa Pisani is a majestic complex, built with classic Venetian architecture, and is justly designated as National Museum. But, despite the impressive visit of the buildings and the garden, I am left with the ambiguous feeling what is better. Keep showing the ravages of time...More

I was absolutely swept away from the beauty of Villa Pisani. The beautiful proportions of the outside are all kept on the inside with the extraordinary ballroom with the Tiepolo frescos on the ceiling. Outside the proportions are again wonderful with the breathtaking stables at...More

Even the bus ride was interesting. Not at all crowded -- I don't think people want to make the effort to get to the bus station and then endure the ride and the walk. You have to walk about 4 blocks along the Brenta Canal...More

I arrrived by bus from Padova on a rainy day in September, thus both the villa and its garden were almost empty. The renowned hedge maze was also closed due to the bad weather and wet paths. Highlight: The villa with its iconic view over...More

Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area, the grounds and the main buildings have a lot of history behind them. The maze is fun for adults and children.

You are practically alone walking around this palace and garden. Surprisingly understated interiors, charmingly aged and crumbling. Nice cafe too.
