Good people watching activity. Guests gather outside the main door and then drive around the town. Loud music and good atmosphere.

One of the two beautiful churches on Piazza Duomo in Acireale . Very big and impressive structure . If you visit/enter during noon time , you have to get used to the darkness inside . Don't miss .

Acireale is fabulous and this cathedral is really worth visiting. We were there on a Saturday, so all dressed up for a wedding, we sat in the square and watched very glamorous guests arriving.

Lots of festivities going on outside, but it was nice to step inside and see the church. Beautifully decorated and tranquil.
