The lagoon is very shallow and the trip is on a flat bottomed boat from the north end of the lagoon. It is off the SS125 going north out of San Teodoro, it's well signposted. If you get to Lu Friali you've gone past it...More

Thanks to the Association Orizzonti di Gallura is possible to make an excursion on the Lagoon for watching the water birds including a flamingos colony. Booking in advance is compulsory as the seats on board are limited

Beautiful lagoon but we were disappointed as the boat giving trips stopped doing the trips for the winter at the end of September. The flamingos were there in abundance but as the boat wasn't running it was impossible to get really near them

The stagno is really stunning, especially at sunset. It's easier to see the flamingos from the ss125, but the location is still peaceful and worth a visit. Just avoid eating at the Peschiera restaurant... If you want to save the 12 euros for the boat...More

Firstly the good stuff; the boat trip around the lagoon was fun. We saw flamingos, cormorants, tern and some ducks. We stopped on the beach and the host showed us a number of the plants. She was very knowledgeable about the lagoon and the life...More
