Though a museum dedicated to paper might seem a bit too specialised this place is great. Fabriano has been one the main paper making areas of Europe for 700 years and this museum shows how the processes and organisation and technology have changed over time....More

This was a highlight of our visit to Italy. The history of paper was extensive and informative, but the best part was the live demonstration exactly as it was done eight hundred years ago. Very highly recommended!

Been there multiple times. The staff and guides are very professional and made the experience an overwhelming enjoyable event. Interesting how Paper was created centuries ago! Very high quality paper.

Paper making has been the local "craft" of the region for centuries and this museum doesn't just tell the story, it let's you get "hands on" as well! Completely unasked for, a personalised guide took us around and actively demonstrated the methods and machinery involved....More
