We did this camp independently and felt it was better than a guided tour as the audio set was excellent. I did listen to a guide and he was saying more or less the same information so therefore we could walk round at our own...More

We spent a whole day walking around the camp. The baracks show photographs and items that make it very clear what happened in Sachsenhausen.

Although there is not much left from the original camp, you can learn a lot of what happened when it was active. They have a lot of pictures and you can walk all around the place where used to be all the buildings. You can...More

Sharon was a very wonderful and informative guide. She knew so much of this concentration camp that she could have talked for hours. I would have loved to had her for more time.

We planned a stop in our trip from Hamburg to Berlin. We found that this place is easy to find, has ample parking, has both free entry and paid guided tours. We chose to purchase a narration machine and make our way through the camp....More

A must see. If you visit Germany you should visit a camp like this. To see what human beings can be capable of doing when you allow those dark and sadistic feelings take over. We have all taken some pleasure in doing something wrong at...More

If you walk around the camp you have to give a chance for the museum to see all kind of original artifacts and clothing of the prisoners and rules of the place. A must.
