It is a steep walk up to get to the fort but well worth the effort. It is somewhat reminiscient of Les Baux in Provence and certainly would have been an amazing stronghold. A bit cold an draughty in winter no doubt but pretty safe...More
So much to see and do! Perfect for children, games laid out to play ( adults were enjoying them too!) Interest for historians, cooks, gardeners and folk who like to walk and explore. A brilliant morning.
