The Tank Museum brings history to life, with the world's best collection of tanks and explosive live displays. See almost 300 armoured vehicles as you explore seven powerful exhibitions. "The Tank Story" details tank history from 1915 to the present. "Battlegroup Afghanistan" transports you to the modern front line. In "The Second World War - Discovery Centre", you'll see the breadth of our unique collection plus "Fury" uncovering our involvement in the film. Following the First World War centenary commemorations, explore "The Trench Experience" and "Warhorse to Horsepower". New for 2015, "Tank Factory" tells the story of the tank makers.

You don’t have to be into tanks to enjoy this place. As well as loads of great tanks there is really good information about the war that the kids found interesting as well as a fun outside ride on the caterpillar trucks. Staff and venue...More

My five year old grandson loved it. I was worried he would get bored after a couple of hours. But he was like the Duracell bunny, he kept going and going and....His description was to short for this review, he just described it as "brilliant"

There isn't a great deal for younger children to do if they are not interested in looking at tanks, they might get bored. It is a huge place and you need at least one day to look around at everything.
