The Tank Museum brings history to life, with the world's best collection of tanks and explosive live displays. See almost 300 armoured vehicles as you explore seven powerful exhibitions. "The Tank Story" details tank history from 1915 to the present. "Battlegroup Afghanistan" transports you to the modern front line. In "The Second World War - Discovery Centre", you'll see the breadth of our unique collection plus "Fury" uncovering our involvement in the film. Following the First World War centenary commemorations, explore "The Trench Experience" and "Warhorse to Horsepower". New for 2015, "Tank Factory" tells the story of the tank makers.

Loads to see, ideally need two days to have a good look around without rushing, as there is so much to see.

A magnificent collection of armoured vehicles, very well displayed and cared for. Especially good WW1 exhibits, bringing the origins of the tank together. A remarkable number of original tanks with the classic parallelogram shape, and particularly interesting comparing the sheer size of the modern Challenger...More

Visited whilst on a family holiday. Exhibits were interesting, very informative regarding the tanks. Only criticisms are about the entry fee - £14 per adult, given there were no shows on it seemed like £10 would have been more reasonable. Also the food wasn’t cheap,...More

Yes, there’s plenty to do inside, so much to look at. Loads for kids to do including soft play, quizz, dress up and get to sit in the drivers seat of a tank. (Tho adults can do this as well!)

Pretty sure the grandstand seating is VIP only. The viewing area is quite a large sloped grass area. When we went, the weather was quite good so we just sat on the grass. There is also a wall between the viewing area and the... More
