I illegally entered the park so I could enjoy the gorgeous weather and beach with my dog. It is Sept 24th..I do not understand why so many of the provincial parks are closed.I am not looking for services just easier access. The beach was heavenly.

This was our first camping experience in Canada. We liked everything about the park, except for the abundant mosquitoes. Not sure if this is typical for late August. Glad we had a screen house, since it would have been unbearable otherwise. Campsites are nice and...More

Quiet, traditional campground with treed and open sites, some with gorgeous views of the open ocean. Beautiful, pristine beach. Just lovely

Pretty sure this was the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. Perfect for any and everyone. Safe swiming with lifeguard and has sand bars that go way out for wading as well. Hiking along the beach is fun and there is a little light house...More

Cabot park is beautiful. The beach is all sand not a rock ! When tide goes out it’s all sandbar . Busy spot. Campground is looked after well. Washrooms and showers very clean. Only thing missing is a canteen for coffee or snacks.

If you're on a budget(and who isn't!) go to Cabot Beach. It's a beautiful beach about 20 minutes from Cavendish and it's FREE! It has washrooms and lifeguards as well some play equipment for small children in the park before the beach, as well as...More

First, the campground: We were tenting in a site with water and electricity. The grass was wonderful for the tent. The people were friendly and the campground was clean and free of debris. It was very quiet after 11:00 pm on Wednesday and Thursday nights,...More

This beach is by far my favourite beach on the whole island. We have 3 kids and they all enjoyed it. Even when the tide was in the water was shallow for as far as you could see. Friendly lifeguards. Even on busy days the...More

Great place to camp. Sites are pretty good size, but depending upon how much time you spend and what amenities you need. Camp by the water edge if you can. Great sunset!
