Absolutely belting place. Small yes but welcoming, warm and full of cheery characters. This was third visit. Travelled from Blackpool just to go here. Spent a wonderful afternoon sampling the variety of beers. A few nibbles. And the occasional virgin pentalina and goods training passing....More

Fantastic place to go for a 'few' beers. The place is so friendly with staff who make you so welcome. Will definitely go again when I'm next in the area.

The attitude of the bar staff stinks, very poor knowledge of the beers they sell and if you ring before hand to ask what beers the have on they are not at all interested and make you feel a burden, very kilcky where it goes...More

Where do we begin with this work of fiction? Let's start at the beginning. It's non of your business but we do not sell food as we don't have a kitchen. That's quite obvious to observant people. We only sell crisps, peanuts etc. That's your...More

Combining our love of good beer and trains makes this a perfect spot. Add friendly people and dogs and it couldn't get any better. You can tell this place has a great reputation as we just barely squeezed in.

Sorry for the late response but no, we don't sell food other than crisps, peanuts, pork scratchings etc. However, the Refreshment Rooms on the station do serve excellent sandwiches, lunches and a top quality breakfast.
