I often go down to the beach whatever the weather. It is one of the best and has not been spoilt by tourists or pollution.

An ineffective sea wall (signs warn of regular flooding) provides a walk for locals and their dogs. The "beach" is mainly shingle and a little muddy sand. It is not the Costa del Sol! No deck chairs for hire, but then again, there were few...More

Lovely long expanse of beach, caravan country but not overly commercialised. Great beach café and in season fresh fish stall.

The beach itself is nice, lovely place to spend an afternoon. The area is over populated by caravan parks which ruin the views and make the beach more difficult to access. Try further along the coast to Old Hunstanton or Brancaster.

This is a lovely beach ideal for families, maybe even better than Hunstanton beach which is often too overcrowded

Lovely beach, great fir dog walks, always lovely locals to say hi to like me. Clean beach with amazing views and just about the only place on the Eadt coast you can see the sun set - and what a sunset it is

A nice quiet beach which was lovely for the dogs, not crowded and would go there again if we ever come this way in the future.

Walked a long the promenade from Hunstanton. Watched wind surfers. The beach has all the facilities, toilets, cafes, slipway. The beach is shallow as is the sea. Plenty of free parking

There you go - The Fox in Heacham Village. There are certainly loads of dogs running free on the beach and along the shore as this is an ideal exercise area. There are several pubs in Heacham and if you are visiting in the... More
