Decided to go with a smaller traditional boat so we could go into the caves.
Very lovely lady in the kiosk not pushy at all
Boat was immaculate
Crew were very informative
And captain was a pro
Highlight was seeing mountain goats and a sunfish.
And going right into a cave.
Going right around the ille of medes was nice to see .
If you have time plan ahead to choose the best day for weather.
Our trip was perfect but it can be choppy.

Simple but good tour. You really get a nice experience and feeling for the coast (and the islands) in less than 2 hours, and the host is very nice. If you want more, you schould rent your own boat :-)

I did it with my 2 kids (6 and 3 ys old) and they really flipped out. It was an amazing experience away from the typical commercial cruises. I want also to thank Captain Farró for his excellent treatment to the crew and specially my kids.

Love this trip. This is the 3rd or 4th trip we’ve been on with these. This year the trip was rough the boat bouncing all over. Children was crying and the 2 staff on the boat couldn’t of been nicer they was all over the kids reassuring them making them laugh.
The sea settled at the Medes Isles and we are able to moor and swim in the sea. The staff and trip was a pleasure as it has been every time we’ve used these! Recommend for all!

1.5h tour was actually closer to 2h, with friendly and helpful crew. Smaller, open boat means everyone on board gets a great view with minimal obstruction, but still very comfy and spacious.

Hugging the coast going north there are stunning views of cliffs and coves, with pauses for glass bottom views or just to take in the beautiful surroundings in shallow waters.

Sailing through the rock arch was exciting, but even better was to come- the "3 caves" at the end of the northern route. Everyone was excited to enter the biggest of these, and the sounds and sights as we went further in were amazing- echo of waves lapping at the rock walls, interesting rock patterns and formations, stalactites and nooks and crannies- all just beautiful. And then the captain turned on the headlights to reveal a cathedral like natural cavern extending high above the crystal clear waters. Honestly, an utterly stunning experience that prompted gasps of wonder and spontaneous applause from us all.

Heading back south the route doesn't hug the coast quite so much, but still gives an excellent view of the coastline, before stopping off in a cove just north of Estartit for a swim in the beatifuly clear water. Plentiful fish to swim with, courtesy of some breadcrumbs to entice them out of hiding! A perfect place to snorkel or just to refresh yourself with a dip in a truly lovely location.

There's time to dry off as the boat then heads off to circle around the Medes Islands, getting up close to each of them and allowing plenty of time to enjoy the views of each and take pictures, and view the underwater shoreline through the glass bottom viewports.

An enthralling trip, for me the absolute highlight of my week in Estartit, and at just 20 Euro per person (low season price) excellent value for money. My family thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and all the other passengers left with smiles on their faces too.

I highly recommend taking a trip on the Nuria- a truly wonderful experience!

it was very windy and the waves higher than the boat. The captain however was very experienced and went right along the coast. We could not go all the way to the "La Foradada" because of the big waves. But we then cruised in front of the "Islas Medas" Where the sea was calm and we had a good time. Thanks to the local Captain, who was very experienced and had nice stories to tell (in Spanish) we had a really good time.
I did the same trip some years ago with the bigger, yellow boat, which was nice too. It had the better glass bottom, but we all enjoyed the smaller boat more. If the sea wasn't so rough, we could have gone through the cave, which is not possible with bigger boats.

We took the boat trip whilst on holiday and it was fab! Touring the caves was really interesting both my children thoroughly enjoyed it, the boat even stops off at a cove and you can enter the water if you wish, the fish are there in droves our boat driver was even feeding them whilst my partner was in the water so everyone could have a look. Wasn't too expensive either €20 for an adult. Would absolutely recommend.

We chose this company because reviews on Trip Advisor recommended it's use of small boats that could enter the caves and coves, and it proved to be a good choice.
The pilot was very skilful navigating waters of rapidlly changing depth which we could view through funnels with glass at the base.
We stopped for a swim and snorkel from the boat, which unfortunately was curtailed by the arrival on the scene of jellyfish.
We returned around the Illes de Medes where we stoped to observe the sea grass that supports this conservation ecosystem.
There was little or no commentary, the guide speaking only basic english, and if you want drinks etc you need to take your own. Nonetheless a good value enjoyable trip.

Be sure to take your snorkal, swimming stuff and towel as the boat stops off in a cove (with lots of fish) for you to swim in. Be warned, this boat does go into a cave, however cannot enter with choppy water (which happened to us), if this is the case, be sure to ask the boat driver for half of your ticket back and go back to the ticket office afterwards to get a refund.
