Hard to find a good sandy beach this time of year to walk your dog. Kingsgate is a lovely beach to do so. Very clean & hardly anyone on it. Just wished it was a bit longer but you can’t have it all! Highly recommend!

A gorgeous little sandy beach. Dog friendly, low tides, and peaceful to swim in! The scenery is beautiful, secluded, so you are a bit sheltered from the wind. It’s possible it walk around the cove at low tide.

Surrounded by white cliffs and overlooked by a castle and a palladian mansion, Kingsgate Bay is a Sandy safe bathing treasure. No parking but there is a pub.

Dog friendly :) It was a lovely beach. I will go there again sometime. The beach was sandy and some some stones. My dog loved this beach and so did we.

Had a great day. Dog's first time on the beach and it was perfect. Not too crowded. Lovely breakfast 5 min away at Botany Bay hotel. Recommend if you want to take your dog.

This is an excellent beach for families to play. You are able to walk round to the stone arch in the cliffs, through it and out the other side. But, there are no loos and nowhere near to park. The next beaches up in both...More
