Not really much to see. Nice area around it for a picnic or just to sit. Not very good information available there. A bit disappointed.

This is a ruin of a Norman Motte and Bailey type structure. Not much to see. Not really well maintained and the blurb about it was indecipherable behind perspex that was coated in green algae/moss. Time for a clean up!!

The castle itself is in a very sorry state, it is completely fenced off and all you can do is walk through the field that surrounds it. With some investment I think it has a lot of potential to be a real landmark but until...More

Fethard Castle is a ruin that is behind fences that stop tourists but unfortunately have not stopped vandalism. The Castle is great for taking pics, but that's about it. There is no information about it and it could use a good picking up around it.
