A Beautiful Church with a Masterpiece of a Mosaic

We visited this church as a part of a tour, and I was blown away by the amazing mosaic at the back of the church of Saint Lawrence and his life. It is truly spectacular. The rest of the church is also lovely and we stayed for midday prayers with the local nuns as well. Open during the day for a free visit - make sure you pop in to look!

A beautiful church

Located directly across from the Deaconess Motherhouse in Neuendettelsau. Stained glass windows, a spectacular wall mosaic in the narthax, a pipe organ in regular use so. don't forget to bring your camera with beauty inside and out.
