The industrial history of salt and its effect on more or less everything. Well worth a visit both for the museum and for the surroundings.

We all enjoyed the guided tour and the exhibition. We know a whole lot more about the salt industry and the impact it had on the region. I would highly recommend this museum.

The guided tour would give you some ideas on how they made salt in the past. The underground cave was well preserved and one could see the whole process of salt making. It was labour intensive and an extremely hard work. A very interesting place...More
