The cabin crew did a great job under pressure with a full Flight . Service remains the best with gracious polite & friendly service. Be careful to ensure you don’t overpack a suitcase & underpack another as you will be made to transfer items before it is approved . We thought the supervisor was a little officious!... We were disappointed with the seat allocation . Checking in 3.5 hours before departure and being allocated seats 3rd row from the back . We did book & pay 10 months earlier. To try and book seats 48 hours before departure when that service becomes available is tedious and really not passenger friendly (on line for seniors)!!! Occupying seats at the back we had no choice of entree So had to accept the Pork dish. Very poor as the pork cut of meat appeared to be pork belly, very fatty , little lean meat.! Quite surprised Singapore Airlines allows the Caterer to use that low quality. .... pork tenderloin would be the correct cut to use & not that expensive. The polenta also was a block like cake ! Not up to the airlines usual standard. The positives were the flight left & arrived on time and the Cabin crew did an excellent job .Hot towels, cold water cups throughout the flight and good bar service. Bathrooms continually cleaned as always. Great.

I went to Werfenweng to learn to paraglide and hike in the alps. I stayed 2 weeks in 2017 and 2 in 2018. I found the Austriafly crew very professional. The also were great people. The Reberning brothers, Sepp and Stephan own and run the flightschool. Their people are like family. The instruction, rental equipment was fresh and in excellent shape as were the rest of the facilities. The instruction was thorough and kept fun. I don’t speak German but this wasn’t a problem either. They offer Tandem flights for those who just want to experience paragliding without having to learn. Those returning from the experience were always 100 percent happy. I even saw them take wheelchair bound individuals for flights. In addition, I found the town of Werfenweng to be charming. It’s not a night life hot spot but a charming alpine town with great restaurants and outdoor activities. I’d recommend people to go experience Werfenweng before it’s “discovered”.

In Holland we have no mountains to to learn paragliding you have to come to Austria. Austriafly in Werfenweng was recommended to me to start with paragliding and to kick of with the "Grundkurs" So I contacted the owners Josef & Stefan Rebernig and discussed a plan of approach. We went there in the beginning of August and I started the course, including the theoretical part. It all starts on a small hill where you learn the basics of flying. After 3 days I was ready to take of from the Bischling 1850 and made my first 5 solo flights ! What a great experience is that. It was so good that I wil go back in October to make some extra flights to built on experience towards my pilot license. Great guys, patient, professional, highly recommended !
