It was the biggest disappointment during our trip. Yes, we slid down to the mine. Yes, we had a boat and a train ride. However, the fun would be much bigger at any amusement park. We wanted to learn the history and the process, but...More

Love the slides and the whole experience, very dinamic and adventurous. Would like to get more info on the miners’ lifes though. Movies tried to be funny but unsuccessfully.

The trip was informative, educated, fun and well organised. Our guide spoke in German and English. I suggest that you buy an online ticket before visiting. Great fun for all the family. First you dress special uniform (labor clothing), than you go with a small...More

We came over from Munich for a day trip. For those doing the same, taking the train to Hallein is pretty straight forward. You would then need to take bus 41 which is right outside the bus station to your left. The bus station is...More

Lots of fun and history as well. You get to ride on a miners train, slide down miners Bannister and float in a salt lake. Great fund for all ages. Not recommended for anyone who has claustrophobia!.
