A great day out with the family.. we had a family of 10 people ranging from 73 year old grandparents to 8 year old kids. Everyone was entertained and well nourished in the restaurants.. a wonderful day had by all.

If you stay in one of the hotels in the area in summertime, they will issue you a free pass with which you are free to use the lifts and cables to visit the stations. From here on you can also walk the trails downhill....More

Well, it was my second time there, despite the unstable weather it was much more better then the last time. But still, they are cheating with the measurement method of pistas length.

This is one of large ski areas in Austria. Many ski possibilities, pistas, snow parks, limited free ride areas, cozy restaurants. High probability of sunny weather all the time. On the other hand - prices correspond to the offered services...

it was busy after new year period, but there were great kids ski school, nice sloaps and plenty of places to get rest, or to grab a bite to eat.

Various ski routes, mostly average in difficulty. Well connected so you do not need to stay in one place. Only 2 lifts with warm seating, rest old style without a bubble to protect against wind.

I would advise against walking, since the road is sometimes steep and there is no pavement. Cars are running very fast (Austrian/German style). Certainly in wintertime, it would be a challenge to walk the 5 km. I am not... More
