Cheap entry so worth a quick visit if you have time whilst in Mallaig.
I enjoyed the social history aspects and what I saw of the video - we were a wee bit pushed for time.

Good little museum. Interesting to see how the town and surrounding area had developed and changed. Lots of maps and photos. We liked the temporary exhibit about the school class at 50. £2.50 entry seems fair.

We arrived at historic Mallaig on the Jacobite train, on a very wet afternoon. I had intended to visit the Heritage Centre anyway, but we headed straight there to get out of the rain.
The Heritage centre is immediately adjacent to the railway platform.
