Cheap entry so worth a quick visit if you have time whilst in Mallaig. I enjoyed the social history aspects and what I saw of the video - we were a wee bit pushed for time. Not the best layout and felt a bit haphazzard...More

A great place to learn about the history of this small place with a big history of development and decline. A must for railway enthusiasts.

Good little museum. Interesting to see how the town and surrounding area had developed and changed. Lots of maps and photos. We liked the temporary exhibit about the school class at 50. £2.50 entry seems fair.

A wee but very interesting place with lots of information on local life, the trains and the fishing! One can also look for one's friends in the school archives!

A small museum by the station with varied exhibits, but if you have time before your train or boat, watch the short films on local matters.
