4 of us just called in Helmsley Brewery,just to have a' nosey look' Glad we did,what a cracking little place and great beer.we tried 3 of the ones on show,all were excellent.Very friendly staff,will certainly call again.Highly recommended.

Have been here before and it was better before. Smallish Place with excellent beer. It’s obviously frequented by some locals. Compared to other breweries I thought the bottles to take away were a little on the high side but bought some anyway. Worth a visit...More

Popped in here as I am a real ale guru. Some excellent bottled ales available for taking away as well as some on the pumps. Chatty lady manning the pumps. A pity I have not (yet) seen this served in the Hartlepool area

Popped in for a swift beer and we felt like locals a warm welcome from customers and the barman,he talked us through the beers and gave us little tasters too ! And yes the opening hours do depend on how busy they are,quircky but ok....More

Popped in here for a few beers whilst staying in Helmsley recently. Really good local ales - although this is of course subjective. But it's very much 'ales' rather than 'craft' type beers. They also offered spirits and mixes, such as Masons Yorkshire Gin etc....More
