We were one of the lucky few that booked a landing tour for May 17th, about 3 months in advance for about $100/person. Unfortunately, on May 9th, once we were already in Ireland, we were informed via text (and email) that due to the nasty...More
Had an enjoyable experience going out to the Skelligs with Casey’s tours. Boat sat 12 people and a crew of 2.
Hassle free organization, I got a text message with updates of the tour, delays etc which was very convenient.

Our trip with Jim was excellent with entertaining and informative talks, when he was able to hove to, in gentler waters. We were lucky yesterday with just a gentle swell, so he was able to pull in close to the different points of interest. He...More

We booked 5 months ago and allowed 3 days in the area to hopefully mean at least one day the weather would be good. Night before the booking we got a reminder email immediately followed by a cancellation “due to weather “ and weather was...More
These lads are professional to their fingertips yet have a genuine human touch born through a love of what they do !. No better way to enter the water desert of the Irish Hermit tradition. An soul uplifting enchanting experience !.
I think the morning is best, having said that if the evening is the only option, then the later the better. As for wildlife, it's mostly gannets on view which look spectacular around the little Skellig island.
