lots of stairs, not connected to the resort thus low facilities. tourist trap with a very small beach and some stores with sea equipment to use at the sea. the beach is full of stones.

Town beach in agia pelagia , lined with sunbeds . Sadly the beach width only allows one row of beds so it gets pretty packed ,.,.early too,. Pretty but annoying.

Small but beautiful beach! The water isn’t too deep and you can swim pretty far. Also recommend buying snorkeling gear so you can see all the small fishes swimming by the rocks. They also have a lot of water activities. My husband and I took...More

Nice and peaceful place not far from Heraklion. The best thing about the beach in Agia Pelagia is that there is no wind that usually can bother at other places in Crete. The water is clear and transparent so it is a Great place for...More

Agia Palagia beach is very compact but is in a small bay with clear water and a gently shelving bottom. Some of the sun beds were actually in the water when we were there. There appears to be a number of hotels and apartments around...More

Nice clean beach, nice bars and restaurants with authentic Greek feel. Water sports expensive! Took 3 of my son's diving, cost €310.00!

Only small but lovely sandy beach, clear water and a variety of nearby shops and restaurants. About 30 minutes walk from our hotel but we’ll worth the effort. There is a bus service available should you chose.

There are always taxi transfers going on in Agia Pelagia or at nearby resorts. Ask any shop owner or other vendor and they will be happy to call a taxi for you.

The beach just off the hotel and there is public access. You can get to the Blue Lagoon though the path is not obvious and you have to ask when you are there. Have fun!
