Very rocky trail, need good footwear, and courage for the chains and ladders near the top. Very popular walk, so pleased we did it in October when not crowded. The drive up is beautiful too.

Stunning views from the start. I can't recommend this trail enough. But the road to the car park for the lakes was for me, absolutely terrifying- your typical mountain route- no barriers, some blind bends, and only enough room for 1 vehicle. It's absolutely worth...More

Important is to get on the trail very early. Dont waste time on the first lake and go directly do the higher one- swimming and sunbathing is absolutely perfect there. Trail is quite adventurous :)

Beautifull! We made a whole day round way excursion with 6 year old girl : Parking, Lago di Melo, Lago di Capitelu, Bocca di Soglia, Parking. In my opinion it is the best option, for sure better than going just up and down to Lago...More

Very nice trail. In August start early (before or around 8AM) to avoid the heat and the traffic. It took us 5 hours in total to go up and down to Lac Melo and Lac Capitellu.

We didn't walk up to the lake due to poor footwear planning (flip flops were definitely felt to be 'dangereuse' by the lovely helpful lady at the info booth) but the road was open right up to the start of the path, where there's a...More

I would give this 5 stars if the road was open but it has been completely destroyed 9km from the end. There's a 10m hole where it used to be. They have started repairing it but it'll take a while. There is nothing on the...More

Absolutely amazing! Make sure that you have comfortable shoes. I recommend Trekking shoes. A great naturewalk. Start early, it is quite hot during the day. If you are not a train walker, do not underestimate it. Take water with you. You will not be disapointed....More

So we just tried to get to the Bergerie de Cortelle to start hiking, and found the road had totally washed away above the Camping de Tuani campsite! We recommend going back down to the Point d'Info car park, crossing the bridge and hiking up...More

it was on the road, the road was totally inaccessible... but you can still enjoy a walk along the river if you stop at the bridge.
