Had a great time exploring the island at low tide, then walked to a nearby beach and ate some of the local fruit for lunch. As my wife and I rested we were visited by a troop of capuchin monkeys....

Hello, there is only 1 low tide a day. It usually starts to go up around 12noon and takes a good 3-4 hours to completely go up. So you have plenty of time to explore the island cemetery and do some great snorkeling around... More

Low tide changes daily you you have to check local tide charts This site has tide charts for the area: nicoyazoom . com
