Just been to see this cameo production of A Christmas Carol which was truly brilliant! A lovely enactment by only four players, with a touch of humour thrown in. Really good start to Christmas. And an opportunity to look around the refurbished Eastgate House afterwards....More

This is owned by the local council but is well looked after. The staff were very helpful and pointed out the best way to go around the house. The information boards were good with some old photos although we did spot a couple of typos...More

I've often walked past Eastgate and tried to peer in the windows. Now conserved and re-opened, the contents are a little sparse but it's great to get the chance to enjoy some Rochester history close up. The views from the windows give a new perspective...More
