Went back a year after last visit when meal and service here excellent. The restaurant seems to have lost the edge a bit as meal was typical pub grub and menu restricted . We go there mainly for the excellent live music when Ben Mills...More

This review is specifically about breakfast at the Charles Dickens (we have little to no experience of using this pub for anything else). The cooked breakfast is consistently the best we have tried in the town. It is a large and filling breakfast, it will...More

We looked at several alternatives on the Broadstairs front, this was by far the best option. Food well presented, innovative, good portions. Staff very friendly and attentive. Very good choice. Will come back.

Visited the Charles Dickens during half term with my family, including young children. A very family friendly welcome from the staff. The food was outstanding, especially the children’s burger and chicken goujons! Will definitely be returning very soon! Stacy
