Great little place. Well worth the money and breaks up the monotony of endless passing traffic and endless fish and chip shops. Other than this place and the cable cars, there really isn't any point in visiting Matlock unless you want to eat.

This is a great place to visit if it is raining. It only costs £3.30 per person and is well worth the money. It has a wide variety of fossils and fish to look at. We also really enjoyed the hologram exhibition, it was so...More

As it was raining, there was a limited choice of things to do, so we plumped for this place. It held our attention for just under an hour, giving a little insight into the history of Matlock Bath. There were some interesting exhibitions & some...More

A nice variety of fish and various other bits and bobs to look at. The children especially enjoyed feeding the fish outside. Very reasonably priced and somewhere to store your buggy!

When there's so much natural beauty in the surrounding area, I wouldn't go out your way to visit this. House inside an arcade, it's a very small attraction that will take you no longer than 5 mins looking at the fish. There's an added bonus...More

The aquarium is very nice but not boring at all. It is great especially in a rainy day and for families and children. There are many species of fish and a lot of gigantic carps outside which you can feed :) it is not big...More

The images outside made this place look amazing. Though it is cheap at £3.30, the images were extremely deceiving. After going upstairs and going to a room of crystals which were cool to look at. The petrifying well was disappointing, it was just a long...More

Some interesting things to look at. The children enjoyed looking at the few fish tanks of tropical fish and feeding the carp.
