The world famous Willie Clancy Festival takes place in nearby Miltown Malbay each July. Contests are held in just about every available public hall. Many private houses are used for spontaneous sessions of traditional music.

Time well spent. Insightful and detailed musical presentations. Even Willie Clancy's own signature is still preserved on the wooden ceiling beams. If you want to learn and understand more about traditional music then this is a MUST visit.
