2 reviews
This option is for wine lovers. With 45 minutes ride we’ll get to the Chianti area and meet one of our favourite winemaker. We’ll visit the winery, the vineyards, the cellar and then we’ll have a tasting and/or Tuscan lunch.

Don’t worry, you can drink as much as you want, we’ll be driving!

The sidecar experience will give you the chance to take picture (and short movie!) on the most beautiful landscape in the world, the Chianti, and to visit a couple of Medieval small town where the time seems to be stopped in XV century…

The highlight of this tour is the owner of the place...Giovanna. She made the tour very personal and was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. The grounds are beautiful, the history is interesting and we loved the small private chapel next to the house built in the 1400’s. The wines are fantastic as are the olive oils. We also tried and loved the Grappa. We shipped plenty of wine and olive oil home and took a couple of bottles of Grappa with us. Getting to know Giovanna, drinking her wine and seeing her place was one of the highlights of our week in Florence. Don’t miss this!

We just got done with the tour it was absolutely amazing and inexpensive for how personal and intimate it was to go to this treasure. The owner is an aristocrat and yet is she gave us the tour The wine was fantastic the history was fantastic it's a small tiny winery about 40 minutes from monticettini 20 minutes south of Florence The lunch was so delicious we had prosciutto meats pesto crostini and some amazing Tuscan soup also cheese everything was just so delicious and we really enjoyed it I can't tell you enough how you need to do this The cost was very inexpensive only $50 per couple and that included the tour and lunch The wine is amazing and worth three or four times that in the US this is definitely a gem please see the pictures! Giovanna is amazing and she gave us the tour. Her son is getting involved and will be in charge of the wine I just hope that he can keep the charm passion and more importantly the intimate personal kind touch we left their feeling like we made a new friend it was amazing!!

My wife and I arrived late in the afternoon on Sunday and Giovanna stayed around to welcome us and give us a very interesting tour and along with the history of het beautiful winery. She was very enthusiastic and passionate about her wines and made us both feel like we have known her for years, even giving us tips on selecting good wines. The wines were very good and we ended up shipping several bottles back to the US

OMG, if there is only one thing you do in Impruneta (or looking for a reason to visit Impruneta for that matter), the Fsttiria di Bagnolo winery tour is it. Let me start by saying Giovanna is simply wonderful as a host. She is so personable and knowledgeable. We also had the pleasure of meeting her daughter Margarita, who is also a wonderful and super interesting person. The grounds themselves are beautiful and rustic. The villa was once owned by Machiavelli before being to Giavanna's family generations ago. Set beautifully in the Tuscan hills, just walking the grounds is worth a trip, throw in the stories and the personality and it is a home run before even tasting the wine and the olive oil. But the wine at the end does not disappoint. We took the appertiv package and for 20Euro/pp also got to taste a feast of cold cuts, cheeses, olives, bruschetta, and biscotti. A great value with way too much food for us to even finish. We ended up buying a case of wine and having it shipped back to our house in NJ. I can only hope the rest of the vacation holds up to this brilliant experience on day 1.

Fattoria di Bagnolo was the first stop for our family's week-long vacation in Tuscany. Unfortunately, this set a very high bar for the rest of the week. Few other wineries met the high standard we experienced with Giovanna. The tour of the property was fascinating and we LOVED the food pairings. We ended up shipping home a case of wine - can't wait to open a bottle and share the experiences and friendship we developed with Giovanna that day. This is a gem for any Tuscan wine lover!
