For just 4 euro you get to climb up and walk around the ramparts for amazing views of the area. You can also have a drink and a quick bite in the bar.

The enoteca in the Fortezza provides tasting of many of the wineries in the Montalcino area. We have returned every time we are in Montalcino. The Fortezza itself is a small fort overlooking Montalcino and is well worth the visit.

Hello, We were at this place and were surprised by the well preserved fortress. Once you are in, you have spectacular views for all Montalcino. Nice experience, recommend! Enjoy!

You can see the same views for free - having said that it is the focal point of Montalcino so worth a visit (€4 per person)
