Can be easily reached by the hop on-hop off bus, taxi or in our case walking. Although the walk is uphill you are rewarded with fantastic views. The stadium, theatres and temple have all been reconstructed and are never that busy. As a free entry...More

I like to see old, worn stone on ancient buildings. To my eye, the bright white restoration of the stadium seats, performed by Italians in the 1930s, was unsightly. I may be wrong on this, since it is possible that the seats were originally of...More

The stadium is very impressive when you consider the age of it. There’s a small info room that explains more about the games held there which is very interesting. Take time to visit some of the surrounding sites, maybe not all as impressive but worth...More

I really liked this place because I got to experiment the place where people used to race or battle in Ancient times! It’s free and the place is easily accessible from the street. Nevertheless, the place is really calm.

My friends and I loved exploring this ancient site - the ruins are beautiful, especially the theatre and the race track. It is well worth a visit.

I hiked from the old city on a hot day to see this stadium and acropolis. In comparison with the stadium in Athens and Athens, Lindos, and Kamiros acropolises, it is not so impressive. For me, it wasn't worth the exertion.

From the old centre, a 45 minutes walk to this journey with history. Very nice and open site. But besides public wc and a machine selling you water there is no refreshment alternatives.
