When here on holiday visit this place. It gives an excellent example of medieval castles. It isn't medieval, but a fine example off.

Loved it. It was worth the visit, went to the museum and went upstairs and saw inside the palace. A lot of rooms to see.

Had a nice couple of hours walking around the castle. Not wheelchair accessible but husband managed with his crutches. Definitely worth visiting.

The Palace was great !! So many rooms to go around and a nice, old atmosphere to feel. No knights or armours though which disappointed my 5-years old son terribly. Plus, in the Palace, for some reason which I don't understand, there was an odd...More

Even though the castle was significantly renovated in the early 20th century, one can still feel and see the spirit of the middle ages. One gets to get inside the castle and roam through the whole second floor to view the amazing mosaics from the...More

Hi there, Yes it should be open on Monday. Every taxi driver knows the grandmasters palace, ask them to drop off you the closest to grandmasters main entrance, then it is max 3-5 minutes walk. Not so far from the palace in... More

Not really. The entrance to the walls is outside the main entrance to the Palace and the walk does not finish at the same place you start.
