This is a narrow street leading down from the grand master palace. It has been well represented and is now in use by a variety of facilities such as a hospital and Italian offices. It is were many of the knight lived in midieval times.

We walked up here when it was quiet. It’s easy to imagine the medieval past when you walk up this street.

Perhaps the most picturesque street in Rhodes. There is great authenticity with the arches and the walls. A great spot to take photos and to take in some of the history. Although it is virtually a must visit, the historical ambience is somewhat diminished when...More

We passed this street several times during our visit to the old town. It was nicest to experience it around nine am (without crowds).

Medieval area, almost completely deserted the morning I walked down in mid April which was nice. It's great that the historic street isn't filled with tourist shops and buskers, but a little something more to see would earn it a 5th star in my opinion,...More

Charming authentic area in Rhodes. But beware, the old town is a no car zone and the streets are paved in sharp cobble stones. People with foot and mobility issues should use care.

The must street walk while in Rhodes. It goes from the Palace of the Grandmaster down towards the harbour. A gentle stroll along a cobblestone street. The various coats of arms of the Knights of Rhodes are on display above the doors of the houses...More

The nearest and the only airport is Rhodes Airport (RHO). You can take a taxi, 25 euros or a public bus which takes you to the town. Driving in the Old Town ( the Medieval Town) is limited as the streets are too narrow and... More
