It is not a Castle with the traditional meaning of the word, it is the highest point in Serifos village. The footpath that takes you up and around the summit is scary and exhilarating. The view is amazing and strange because from there you are...More

We walked up here from the port on a hot day. Very quiet at the top. The village of Kastro is very attractive & we had a pleasant lunch in the square.

It's hard to believe this amazing old village is just 2 hours away from Athens by boat (4 hours by ferry). It's magic at sunset but worth a visit anytime of the day.
