Santorini does not have amazing beaches ; that is a fact. Perissa beach is probably the best beach in Santorini. The water is clear and there's good service but that is about it.

They say “you don’t go to Santorini for the beaches” and I’d say that’s a fair assessment. However, Perissa Beach is a nice place to visit and has a stunning setting with the cliffs joining into the water. There are a number of restaurants along...More

I didn’t really enjoy it here unfortunately, I am used to a sandy beach but knew that this wasn’t going to be like that. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you were only staying or visiting Santorini for a few days. The sun beds are...More

Lots of restaurants and bars along the beach offer free use of beds and umbrella if you eat there or buy drinks. Some cool spots to hang out in with hammocks. Chocolat creperie is worth a visit

Different than ANY beach you will find. Lots of dining and activities to make the most of your beach day. A must see in Santorini

Perissa is the best beach in santorini! The original black sand beach! Full of beach bars and restaurants! You can get here by bus and driving, very easy to find! Corner beach bar, by the bus stop is recommended!!

Perissa is a great resort with plenty of restaurants and bars. It is on the south east of Santorini but the rest of the island is easily accessible if you want to see some of the island.

We didn’t rent a car because the bus is so easy to use. We went from Perissa Beach, to Fira and then to Oía, all with the bus and it was like 2-3 euros each way. Very easy and didn’t have to bother with driving

The boat trips are leaving from the port. Ususlly will have a transfer from your hotel or from a pick-up point, arranged by the travel office who sold you the boat trip.

I don’t think it’s walkable. Take a bus to a junction, there’s a walk to the lighthouse.
